Welcome

This site serves as a replacement for my main site while I am in Europe this fall of 2006. I have created a special weblog and gallery to hold my entries, photos and video. I will update as frequently as possible, most frequently will be blog entries, followed by pictures and the occational video as they can take some time to edit and encode.

    What Will I be Doing?

    Traveling the British Isles

Myself and two friends are leaving a week early to travel the British Isles. September is supposed to be one of the best times, being the end of the tourist season but before it gets too cold and rainy. Ireland is our first stop, with our plane landing in Dubin. We are going to spend a 4-5 days walking around ruins, eating some good food, drinking some good beer, seeing a Gaelic soccer match and who knows what else. We will make a big circle, ending in Dublin where we wil take a boat to England.

England, being much larger than Ireland can't be seeing as easily, so we are going to stick to a few of the big sites, such as Stonehenge and lots of time in London. Then on Monday, September 11, we will fly to Rome to meet the rest of the group and begin 'school'.

    Rome

The first month or so wil be in Rome, we we will be studying, with frequent side trips. I have been to Rome before, but for only 3 days and I wasn't allowed the freedom to do as I please, as it was a school band trip. We will have close to a month to see pratically everything.

    Venice

We will be making a two-week stop in Venice. I have also visited the city before, but it was raining for the two days we were there and only got to see a very little bit one evening. I am excited to take some excellent photos.

    Florence

We will spend two weeks in Florence also. I am excited to visit the city, becasue it has so much importance; it was the hotbed for the reniassance architectual movement. I also get to seem my favorite bridge, Ponte Vecchio.

    Break

We have a week break, I am not sure where we are going!

    Paris

We will spend our remaining month or so in Paris. Paris is THE city to see architecture in the world, so I will find myself with pleanty to do. I am also entertaining guests; my parents and my girlfriend are visting my at different times.
